QuadriSpace adds support for SolidWorks 2007 and publishes 3D PDF
documents with 50% smaller file sizes
Allen, Texas – October 4, 2006 –
QuadriSpace™ Corporation, a leading provider of 3D Publishing software
for manufacturing, architecture and digital content; today announced
that it’s products have been upgraded to support SolidWorks 2007 and
improved 3D PDF publishing.
The latest update to QuadriSpace
products lets users author and publish complete 3D PDF documents with
file sizes that are dramatically smaller than previous versions. The
latest version creates 3D PDF documents that are typically 3% to 10%
the size of original 3D CAD files.
Additional file size reduction can be
obtained using QuadriSpace’s state-of-the-art polygon reduction tools.
Using these tools, most 3D models can be further reduced by as much as
50% to 70%. Overall, this can result in a 3D PDF document that boasts
a file size less than 1% the size of the original CAD files.
In addition, the latest update includes
support for SolidWorks 2007 and improves the performance of imported
SketchUp files.
QuadriSpace products are complete
solutions that do not require additional applications, programming, or
CAD training. For more information, please visit
