Highlights of 2006 Service Pack 2

SP2 for the QuadriSpace products provides a number of enhancements, bug fixes and product improvements.

Improvements

• Added support for SolidWorks 2007 models
  Reduced the size of generated 3D PDF files by up to 50%

• Added "Command3d" command line interface to Publisher3D

• New Templates

• Added "Select Parent" menu option when a selected part is left-clicked

• SketchUp Import optimized for better interactive performance

• Page Change action modified to work by Page Number or Page Name

• Added a Model Up direction and Units to the model properties and updated exporters
  to set the up direction

• Removed up Direction from mouse settings

• Improved speed of PDF output with sequences

Bug Fixes

• Users can now drag text onto Pages3D to create a text box

• Fixed a crash that occurred when a rounded rectangle is placed on the Master Page

• Reader3D Exit Full Screen now exits full screen, not program

• Right clicking a tab in Pages3D no longer shows a list of tabs

• Removed white borders when Reader3D enters full screen mode from the command line

• Corrected problems with transparent text on a master page not appearing

Improvements

• Support for Autocad 2007 files, 3D and 2D

• Publish to web has been improved.

• Reader3D ActiveX control now has an extended set of API commands for authoring your own web interface to a 3D document or model

• Reader3D ActiveX control can now open QSM files.

• Installation now sets up the system path so that "command3d.exe" can be executed from any directory.

• Additional support for import of RTF and TXT files into a "Text Box"

Bug Fixes

• Publish to PDF will now properly publish part selection tables that function properly.

• Fixed some view problems with snapshots with close-up views were set up incorrectly with PDF.

• Fixed a problem where some snapshots published to PDF repositioned the viewpoint slightly.

• Fixed a problem where parts did not immediately show as selected when the “assembly tree” was used for selection.

• 2D DWG/DXF/DWF files will now save and load properly when imported.

• Render Styles for 2D and images can now be modified using the "Quick Settings" rollout

• Fixed a crash that occurred when exporting a PDF immediately after using the "Polygon Reduction" tools
