The 3D
PDF Module is an add-on to Pages3D or Publisher3D that lets you publish
Adobe PDF files that include embedded 3D objects. When objects are
embedded in a PDF file in this way, recipients can rotate, zoom
and pan the 3D model while reading the document.
No JavaScript
With Document3D,
you can publish PDF files with 3D objects without writing a single
line of JavaScript. You can create buttons, tables and text that

With other
products, you are required to create U3D files or other intermediate
formats before importing into a PDF. Now, with Document3D you can
import your CAD files directly and publish to PDF with a single button
click.
Integrated page design &
model editing
Document3D is
the only authoring software available that lets you create complete,
polished page designs and work with the 3D model in an intuitive
desktop publishing solution.
Bill-of-materials
Create
bill-of-materials with associative links to the 3D file. In other
words, click a part name in the BOM table to highlight the part in the
interactive 3D view.
Step-by-step
instructions
3D PDF documents
created with Document3D can include clickable step-by-step
instructions. This is useful for assembly instructions, maintenance
procedures and training activities.
Model meta-data
The 3D PDF
Module lets you make extensive use of valuable meta data. This helps
you create associative part lists with part numbers, bin numbers and
other information. You can also display specific detailed part
information as individual parts are click or animated steps are
activated.
 
Licensing
The 3D PDF Module is
sold separately. This product is an add-on to Pages3D Standard or
Publisher3D Standard. This add-on product is included with the
following stand-alone products: Pages3D Professional, Publisher3D
Professional and Document3D Suite.
