When I open a 3D PDF
file, gray blocks are displayed where the interactive 3D view should
be?
This may
indicate that Adobe Reader is set up with the incorrect renderer for
your computer. To change this, open Adobe Reader and choose
try setting the 3D
preferences. To open the Reader preferences, use the menu
“Edit…Preferences…” from Reader. Choose
“3D” and try various settings for the “Preferred
Renderer”.
Another
requirement for the Adobe Reader is DirectX from Microsoft. You may
want to make sure that the latest DirectX version is installed. You
can download and install these from Microsoft.
