About
QuadriSpace 3D Graphics Technology
QuadriSpace
products are built on a cutting-edge 3D rendering engine that lets you
interactively rotate, zoom and pan 3D models in real-time. This
technology is built on OpenGL, an industry standard rendering
technology. Many graphics cards have extensive capabilities that make
drawing 3D scenes with OpenGL better and faster.
Accelerated
OpenGL Graphics
If your computer
has a graphics card with 3D acceleration you can benefit from
increased interactivity with interactive 3D documents. If your
computer includes acceleration, when you first run any QuadriSpace
product you will be asked if you would like to activate the
acceleration.
Unaccelerated
OpenGL Graphics
If your computer
does not have accelerated graphics you can still use QuadriSpace
products. All computers include the ability to draw OpenGL scenes
without acceleration. Computers without 3D acceleration may suffer
from reduced performance when documents include large models or
complex scenes.
OpenGL
Drivers
When using
accelerated graphics, it is highly recommended that you install
the latest drivers for your video card.
Many instabilities can be reconciled by simply updating your
graphic drivers to the latest version available. You may be able
to find drivers for your computer at the following web sites:
